How do you become mentally stronger, more focused and present — with the help of horses? Psychologist Andrea Søgaard shares how horses can be used as a mirror and sparring partner in working with mental balance, self-insight and personal profit — in children, adolescents and adults alike.
The lecture gives you an inspiring insight into how horses can strengthen our ability to feel ourselves, find calm and act with greater clarity. Andrea works with everything from body awareness and emotional regulation to focus and presence — and shows how horses can be a concrete and honest shortcut to more mental excess in everyday life.
After the talk, there is an opportunity to stay a little longer, meet some of the cute therapy horses, ask questions and talk informally with Andrea and several of the other therapists who collaborate with the polo club.
The event takes place indoors in the riding hall — remember warm clothes according to the conditions.
