Polo intro is for those who have never tried polo before and are curious about the sport. Here you try the basic elements and get a good insight into how you can go to polo. Does not require riding experience. Our experienced team and good beginner horses ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone. Polo intro is a great first step on the road to an exciting new world of polo.
Information: The introduction takes place in small groups and lasts 1 to 2 hours depending on the number of participants. Experience with horses or riding is not a requirement. We have the necessary equipment for loan. Simply wear practical clothes — we recommend comfortable jeans and shoes/boots with heels or your own riding gear if you have one. Note weight limit for participants is 100kg, unless otherwise agreed (contact us for further information).
Contents: A polo intro starts with an introduction to the game from the ground before you get in the saddle of our well-trained polo horses and learn basic polo riding, technique and stroke. The training takes place in a safe environment in the polo arena — inside or outside depending on weather conditions. Guests are welcome to attend the rehearsal session from the sidelines or the clubhouse by appointment.

- Important! Directions: The event takes place at Copenhagen Polo Club, which is part of Lyngebækgård located Lyngebæksgårdalle, 2990 Nivå. Drive up the paved Lyngebæksgårdalle from Gl. Strandvej, continue past the main house and follow the road to the right around behind the yellow office buildings and through the horse gate. Here you can see horse stables and riding houses.
- Parking is possible right next to the stables or in the parking lot before the horse gate (not allowed to park on pasture).
- Remember practical clothes - preferably comfortable jeans - as well as shoes/boots with heels. The event takes place indoors in case of bad weather.
- Drinks for sale in the polo bar - own drinks are not allowed.

- Registration is binding and non-refundable. Moving to a new date only in exceptional circumstances and upon further agreement.
