Polo Intro

Try polo all year round! With polo intro you get a fun and safe taste of the sport of polo. Does not require riding experience. Polo intro is for those who have never tried polo before and are curious about the sport. Here you try the basic elements and get a good insight into how you can go to polo. Does not require riding experience. Our experienced team and good beginner horses ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone. Polo intro is a great first step on the road to an exciting new world of polo. Information: The introduction takes place in small groups and lasts 1 to 2 hours depending on the number of participants. Experience with horses or riding is not a requirement. We have the necessary equipment for loan. Simply wear practical clothes — we recommend comfortable jeans and shoes/boots with heels or your own riding gear if you have one. Note weight limit for participants is 100kg, unless otherwise agreed (contact us for further information). Contents: A polo intro starts with an introduction to the game from the ground before you get in the saddle of our well-trained polo horses and learn basic polo riding, technique and stroke. The training takes place in a safe environment in the polo arena — inside or outside depending on weather conditions. Guests are welcome to attend the rehearsal session from the sidelines or the clubhouse by appointment.

How to Get More Mental Horsepower

— lecture with psychologist Andrea Søgaard. How do you become mentally stronger, more focused and present — with the help of horses? Psychologist Andrea Søgaard shares how horses can be used as a mirror and sparring partner in working with mental balance, self-insight and personal profit — in children, adolescents and adults alike. The lecture gives you an inspiring insight into how horses can strengthen our ability to feel ourselves, find calm and act with greater clarity. Andrea works with everything from body awareness and emotional regulation to focus and presence — and shows how horses can be a concrete and honest shortcut to more mental excess in everyday life. After the talk, there is an opportunity to stay a little longer, meet some of the cute therapy horses, ask questions and talk informally with Andrea and several of the other therapists who collaborate with the polo club.

INTERNATIONAL DAY AT THE POLO CLUB

Are you an international living in Denmark looking for a fun and thrilling way to explore equestrian sports? And meet new people? Whether you've never been on a horse or you're a seasoned rider curious about polo, this event is perfect for you! Come join us for an exciting afternoon where you'll learn the basics, ride a polo horse, and feel the excitement of the game. Come and try polo or join as a guest to mingle and enjoy the atmosphere. Event Schedule * 2:00 PM*: Welcome and Introduction: Discover the history of polo and get a tour of the club's facilities. * 2:15 PM*: Polo Intro Lesson: Hop in the saddle and learn the essential polo swings and riding techniques. Don't worry if you're new to horses — our friendly trainers and experienced polo horses will make sure you have a safe and enjoyable time. * 4:00 PM*: Exhibition Match: Watch our club's skilled players in action and get a taste of the fast-paced world of polo. * 4:30 PM*: After-polo: Drinks and light snacks in the polo bar, wrap-up and information on how you can take your polo experience further!
